Well...

She's not mean to the boys. Not at all. She just doesn't care one way or another. She's a tad skittish around them, but then again that just seems to be a personality trait of hers. I have no doubt in my mind that she would trample the boys to death if we were all in a fire. It's funny to say this, but she's the most selfish dog I've met. Of ANY breed. And that's saying a lot!
Peanut, on the other hand is one of the most loving and selfless dogs I've ever seen. Now, she's not the smartest crayon in the box, that's for sure! She's a bit of a doofus, we she's Our Big Goof.
Peanut is always cautious of where the boys are and even seemed to watch over them, in her own weird way when they were younger. If I'm in the other room doing dishes and one of the boys cries, Peanut is usually on her way over there to see if she can't lick a face. This can be quite annoying at times.
It doesn't matter if I say, "Jackson, come here," or "Aiden Michael, come here NOW," Peanut always assumes it's HER you want to come. And she diligently comes over. She's always hovering right over my shoulder, as if to make sure I don't make a mistake. Thanks, Peanut. I've got it covered.
This is just to show you how docile she really is! Jackson had crawled up on her and started jumping up and down! You can see the worry and stress plastered all over her face, but she not only let Jackson have his fun, she let Mama get a picture!!
I just wanted to let you guys know that Jason's birthday is on Sunday so we are heading out of town this weekend. We are going to visit our good friends Bert and Miranda plus we are going to spend lots of time with the boys. I'm sure you've heard me rant and rave over the Museum there....well, we're going baaaaaaack! I'll be sure to take tons of pictures.
