Bubele Bums (pockets)

Click HERE to see more designs.

We recently got these in the mail and I couldn't wait to get them on the boys.

The outer layer is made up of a Poly dalmatian (print) minky material. I LOVE the feel of them.
The inside is a yellow Poly micro fleece (so they might get a little warm in the summer here in Texas).
These are wonderfully made pocket diapers. Very quick to line dry.

Here's were I've got to BRAG BRAG BRAG.

She sells 100% bamboo terry trifold inserts (stuffers) and 100% bamboo fleece trifold inserts and let me tell you, if you are looking for really good inserts, these are the ones to get. I can't decide if I like the terry or fleece better. I'll let you know as soon as I decide. They hold wetness like no other insert we've tried. I guess I just got so used to using the cheap-0 Gerber prefolds as inserts and it IS true...they (the cheap Gerber) don't absorb HALF as well as these bamboo inserts.

The boys seemed to love them. They didn't seem bothered by the warm fleece material and we went on a long walk. The boys each had a cup and a half of milk and they wore the diapers for about 2-2.5 hours and they DID NOT LEAK. My husband doesn't get too happy about little things like this, but even HE was impressed! hahaha

And please, if you buy anything from her, please let her know that I sent you her way. Thanks a bunch! I can't say enough about her customer service. She is simply a pleasure to do business with.

Chuck E Cheese? I think NOT!

I remember LOVING Chuck E Cheese as a kid so Jason and I were excited about taking J&A and experiencing that with them. We went today and we were sadly disappointed.

We ordered a large pizza and mozzarella sticks. It took about 20 minutes to get our food (not too bad) but when we sat down to eat it, the pizza was literally a few minutes away from being COLD. There was a very slight bit of warmth to it...which blows my mind because they should have been able to make and deliver a pizza to my house in that amount of time, or so says Pizza Hut.

Then I dipped my mozzarella stick into the dipping sauce and I had to spit it out in my napkin because the dipping sauce had come straight from the fridge. It was VERY cold. So Jason went up to ask for some warm dipping sauce. They let him stand there for SEVEN FULL MINUTES before he spoke up and they told him to go sit down and they would bring it to us?? All we wanted was a little bit of warm dipping sauce? So Jason came back and we waited ANOTHER 5 minutes before we got the sauce...by which time the mozzarella sticks were as cold as the pizza and completely ruined. We had to struggle to eat the food, it was THAT bad. I would have been THRILLED with frozen pizza compared to this crap.

It gets better...our not quite two year olds come walking up to us with one of them holding a SIX INCH DRILL BIT!! When Jason went to complain to the manager, do you want to know what his reply/solution was?

"Would you like for us to warm up your food for you?" Are you KIDDING me?!?!?!

How did such a beloved childhood place turn to such crap for our kids??

So I emailed corporate and I told them I'd NEVER be retuning. I told them I'd blog about them, too. And so here I am. Venting and feeling much better about myself. They say they will reply within 48 hours so we'll see...

It's That Time Again

Sorry for the lack of updates. We've (me, J&A) have been sick pretty much all last week so of course it's taken us a while to get back to normal. I'll be updating more soon.

Texenza Coffee Shop

What a nice change for both the boys and I. We were out of soy milk so Jason gave me the idea to take the boys for breakfast at a coffee shop! What a great idea!

We went to the closest one, Texenza Coffee, right up the street from our house.

I really liked it, as did the boys. They each got a soy milk and I got some delicious hazelnut drink with lots of caffeine. I asked for NO whip cream because I know how tempting whip cream is for my kids and there was NO WAY POSSIBLE I was going to let them have a taste of coffee. NO WAY. But...they ended up giving me whipped cream anyway, thus making it imperative for me to buy J&A their OWN kid friendly drink. They LOVED it. I took a sip of it and nearly choked it was so sweet. They didn't seem bothered.

Jackson and Aiden also shared a cinnamon bun. They DEVOURED that thing. TORE IT APART.

While they ran around eating, drinking and socializing, I opened my laptop and blogged! I felt like Perez Hilton. Or rather if Perez Hilton were a straight Stay-at-Home-Mom-Blogger. I told Jason, if I could somehow find a way to make money off of this blogging stuff, Texenza will be my new office. LOL! Teelz Hilton. What do you think? Tweela the twin Mama? Isn't it funny how dreams change with age?

And seriously, how much money do I need to make to make it sensible for me to make Texenza Cofffe my new office? Well, now that I think of it...$13 a day adds up. Holy Smoking Coffee Beans! That's nearly $400 a month!

Well, a Mama can dream, can't she?
